What Hon. Dakuku told Dr. Abiye Sekibo.
Hon. Dakuku has prevailed on Dr. Abiye Sekibo to kindly remind Gov. Wike, that Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi is his brother. Dakuku at a wedding service told Dr. Sekibo, " Doc, please kindly tell Gov. Wike that Amaechi is his brother. Trying to expose things that were not properly done under Amaechi's government and ridicule Amaechi is not the best for Rivers state. Doc, you are aware of how the north and southwest enriched themselves with proceeds from our oil, yet no northerner have come out to prosecute their own, even when they quarrel and fight to high heavens. Doc, one thing we should all bear in mind is, it will be our ( Rivers) loss, if Amaechi is not given anything tangible at the center. All the pressure as regards the development of Rivers state, the empowerment of her youths and even me and you, will be on Gov. Wike. Let's stop all these wahala so that Amaechi can be well positioned to also carry some burdens of the state and some people along. Amaechi may have made his mistakes, but please let's overlook certain things and let wisdom prevail " ....Credit: U. Igwe
