The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Monday arrested a former Benue State governor, Gabriel Suswan, over allegation bothering on corruption during his tenure as governor of the north central state.
Also several groups, especially the Integrity Group have called on the EFCC to also arrest the former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi for allegedly embezzling Rivers State funds.
However, there is the belief that the Federal Government is shielding Amaechi, a major financier of the Buhari campaign.
