CUPS can reliably reveal that the traitor called Nnamdi Kanu, who is the director of the UK based anti-Nigeria pirate Radio called Radio Biafra, has been arrested by the DSS at Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos. The attention seeking gangster was arrested yesterday (17/10/201) upon arrival from the UK. He was shamelessly traveling with a Nigerian passport, and not a Biafran one! The news of his arrest was confirmed by a post at the Radio Biafra Facebook page. The traitors had this shallow statement to make:
“Nigerian government this week made the greatest mistake of the century by the arrest of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and director of the Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu. Nigeria made the mistake of equating Biafra to Nnamdi Kanu. Muhammadu Buhari may have been ill-advised that arresting and unlawfully detaining Nnamdi Kanu will quench the fire of Biafra raging across the world. How mistaken they are.”
After the calamitous destruction of human life and property that we endured during the civil war of 1967-1970, and recently through the Boko Haram insurgency, we at CUPS stand for the unity, peace, and security of all Nigerians, irrespective of political, religious, and tribal orientations. We believe in the territorial integrity of one Nigeria. We believe that Nigeria is not only the giant of Africa, but has the capacity to become one of the greatest countries of the planet.
To this end, the treasonous campaign run by the selfish empty headed and attention seeking Nnamdi Kanu and his cabal is against everything that we stand for. We contend that his arrest is long overdue. Nnamdi Kanu and his gang of 419 scammers should have been arrested long time back, and their pirate radio in the UK shut down. It is a shame that the British government allowed this shenanigan to go on for so long. We don’t think that the British government will take it lightly if an anti-UK pirate radio is allowed to operate on Nigerian soil.
If the gospel truth were to be told, which we at CUPS are never afraid of telling no matter whose ox is gored, this gang of criminals DO NOT speak for the good people of Ndigbo. Nobody gave them the mandate to speak on behalf of our Igbo brethren at home or in Diaspora. If a referendum were to be held today across the South East, the vast majority of our people there will proudly chose to reaffirm their Nigerian identity. Like the rest of Nigerians, what an average law-abiding Igbo man and woman wants is NOT another attempt of secession, but a decent quality life.
For the avoidance of doubt, His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, is no spring chicken. He is a military general with impeccable record of defeating the enemies. If need be, he will not hesitate to unleash the full might of Nigerian military and other resources to bear on anyone that attempts to break Nigeria up. If in doubt, ask the Boko Haram sponsors and their agents.
Good riddance to bad rubbish. Let the full weight of the law be made to bear on this pest, Nnamdi Kanu and his co-conspirators. Nigerians have no sympathy for them whatsoever.
