It has come to my notice that the picture below is being circulated with false information that I or the Governor of my State influenced the Judgement of the supreme court to uphold the Elections of Gov. Emmanuel Udom.
I wish to state emphatically that no such thing happened as being peddled by rumour mongers. This picture was taken during a courtesy Visit by the senate Committee of Judiciary and i have no communications whatsoever with the supreme court justices. I stand firmly for Justice and Democracy and will in no way interfere with the truth and Justice for which the supreme court is known.
The Judiciary is an independent body and does not take orders from anybody, while we are committed to improving the tenets of Democracy in Nigeria as well as the African continent.I pray that Nigerians do not question the Integrity of the highest court in the land as it does not speak well of us as a Nation.Thank you and God Bless Nigeria.
