Nigerians are currently responding to President Muhammadu Buhari who had said on Friday that Nigerians are responsible for the poor image of the country, as they often get involved in criminal activities around the globe.
With the hashtag #IAmANigerianNotACriminal thousands of Nigerians, including Senator Ben Bruce, have joined the conversation to debunk the claim by the president.
Earlier, Ben Murray-Bruce, a serving senator of the 8th Senate, and Japeth Omojuwa, a top blogger and social media expert, exchanged blows over PresidentBuhari’s latest interview with the UK Telegraph.
Also, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, the minister of transport, joined in the Twitter fight.
