Enugu attack: Chief Iwuanyanwu tells Igbo youths what to do

Chief Iwuanyanwu called on Igbo youths not to carry out reprisal attacks
– He urged the president to find a solution to the herdsmen attack
– He says victims of Enugu attack should be compensated

Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu has called on Igbo youths to be calm and not carry out reprisal attacks in the wake of an attack in Enugu carried out by Fulani herdsmen.
The Punch reports that the business magnate and frontline politician made this call on Friday, April 29 at his Glass House office in Orji in Owerri.

He warned that any reprisal attack might lead to negative actions on the people who are scattered
across Nigeria. Chief Iwuanyanwu however called on President Muhammadu Buhari to bring the perpetrators to book and duly compensate families of victims. Iwuanyanwu said the greatest attack on an Igbo person was to murder him in his house and it was worse that properties were destroyed and women were allegedly raped.
